Tang Pin Kitchen is such a cozy and rustic, good old fashion ‘kopitiam’ styled eatery. Been coming here for many ages now but never reviewed it… till now! Needless to say the Mee Pok is their star attraction but I absolutely enjoy a generous helping of the hearty claypot full of their ‘fried porridge’… Goldilocks would so kill her three bears for this cauldron of goodness. At under MYR 100.00, this was an affordable feast for four! ❤️

Tang Pin Kitchen in SS2 offers surprisingly flavorful dishes. Their Teochew fishball and fishcake are tender and bouncy, while the fried porridge is served in a clay pot with delicious toppings. Tang Pin’s porridge a reqlly yummy because you could still taste the distinct grains of the porridge. It had the perfect consistency, not overly mushy. The cozy ambiance make it an ideal spot for a casual meal with friends or family.

Noodles texture was good, enough pork lard in the sauce. Fish balls nice and chewy with a bit of bounce. Fish cakes ok but prefer the fish balls. The ginger tea with sesame dumplings had kick. The ginger tea is strong Vs the usual watered down stuff. Recommended!
