More Comments at Google MapGreat service staff who were very attentive. We had lunch and ordered some dim sum and half a roast duck. The duck was very good and I recommend you getting it if you are here. Enough for four persons. The vegetables (mixed four types) is also very well done and tasty. Accor+ members get 50% off for two diners. Super good deal.
Jade Pavilion is the leading pork-free classic Cantonese restaurant of Pavilion Hotel Kuala Lumpur managed by Banyan Tree. We are excited to try out the Authentic Cantonese delicacies with premium and best-in-class ingredients of dim sum choices and ala carte menu. Dim Sum :- 😋Steamed Golden Prawn Dumplings with Sun-dried Scallop. 🌟Jade Pavilion's Salted Egg Yolk Custard Charcoal Buns. 😁Steamed Rice Rolls with Crispy Dough Fritters and Water Chestnut. Signature :- 😋Sauteed Hokkaido Scallop with Thai Ginger Chili Sauce and Crispy Mantou. This mouth-watering dish features fresh scallop with sweet and sour appetizing sauce. Do not forget to mop up the sauce with some crispy mantou.
This is an excellent restaurant to have lunch. The staff is well-mannered, and the environment is quiet enough for you to have a meaningful conversation with your guest. The Scallop congee is a must-try item, it reminds me of when I was young and grandma use this well flavourful dish to get me to finish my food 😅. The Golden Har Kau is well constructed, and the skin is slightly thicker than I am used to, but the ingredients are perfect. The fish dumpling is the first of its kind; in my opinion, the taste is impactful - try it, and you might like it. The lychee dumpling leaves me undecided as the crust is unique to the eyes (no lychee was used, I think), and each has a unique taste; however, I can't find the eureka moment. I love the duck puff (it has this unexpected curry sort of filling), but my company find it flakey. The Taro cake is disappointing; although each slice it's made entirely with taro, something is missing - is it pork lard? I am not sure. Overall I still think it's a great meal.
