For cheap and good local halal food you can enjoy it here. Must try the Gado Gado and Teh Halia Tarik. Superbly cheaper than hotel or Starbucks for TAKEAWAYS.

Seah Im is the best hawker centre in the CBD area and I’ll defend it for life. I always make a pit stop here to get my belly satisfied before going into Sentosa for a swim or just walking aimlessly in VivoCity, even if I were to go to the library just to read - I’ll make sure to get full solid meal here first. Love that the hawker is newly renovated with most of the old stalls being kept. My favorites are the green plate char kuey tiao and the Chen Ji orh jian here. Tried something new which is the satay stall run by young lads. Very sedap satay, meat super well marinated and the ketupat is bursting with pandang flavors. Char kuey tiao - $3.50 Orh Jian (Oyster Omelette) - $4 Satay (many sticks) - $16.50

This is a new stall in this Hawker center, #20. Very good food, delicious pork and chicken rice. Friendly service.
