Service was very friendly and attentive throughout unlike what some of the other reviews write. We enjoyed every single one of our dishes though prices are indeed a bit on the high side for the portion sizes. The highlights for me were the beef rendang and the ice vegetable salad. My wife really enjoyed the okra. The chicken with black nuts and the ice vegetable salad are quite unique and definitely recommended. The latter is not on the menu - ask the waiter for it!

Am I in a museum or restaurant ? The settings is too beautiful. For a moment you loose track of time & place. It’s really amazing. As for the food, yes it’s expensive, portion is small. However for what they serve they executed perfectly. 10/10 for the taste, very unique. And I have my fair share of Peranakan cuisine. And this is up there. Sweet potatoes leaves is awesome. Sweet/pineapple prawns was real good too. Squid was fresh. Just remember even thou it’s expensive, portion are small. But the experience, ambience together with the quality food is highly recommended !!!

07 Mar 2023: Here again for more awesome choices…beef rendang is tender and rich in flavor; udang kuah nanas or prawn in pineapple sauce may be a little spicy for some. 22 Feb 2023: TRUE BLUE CUISINE is just beside Peranakan Museum. The restaurant has impressive unique setting, dishes are superb, portions are pretty small but the billing is big. Authentic Peranakan food and service is good too. Two dishes caught my attention...sweet potato leaves in candlenut sauce and oyster omelette...simply sedap! 😋
