More Comments at Google MapI would definitely recommend coming to this restaurant. The seafood were fresh and the flavours were amazing. Black pepper crab, good. Drunken prawns, soup amazing. Green onion clams, mmmmmhmmmm. But the buttered prawns, out of this world. I had the option to order the buttered squid, but i chose prawn because PRAWN IS LIFE. Would come back again.
It is one of those restaurants where you can opt for affordable seafood while having a wide view of the sea. Some of their dishes are seasonal and subject to availability, so do check with them beforehand. A lot of their dishes were cooked with acceptable ingredients and sauce, such as Tofu and butter prawn. However, for the price, their chill crab was delicious. In conclusion, I would come back again because of the atmosphere and the decent price. Do take note that if you are leaving near their closing hours with the little crowd left, there will be the emergence of cockroaches!
One of the best places to have seafood in JB because of how affordable and fresh the seafood is. For fish, there are many options but I usually go for the grouper, snapper, or seabass. You can choose HK style or nonya style steamed fish. HK style is like soy sauce flavour whereas nonya style comes with a chilli paste. For crabs, they have small, medium, and large flower crab and flavours include egg steamed, black pepper, chilli, salted egg, butter. I like to go for the medium crab (about 600g) because it has much more meat than the small one and I like the black pepper or steamed style of cooking. They also have lobsters occasionally but I prefer crabs. Other seafood include various types of clams, scallops, oysters, prawns. For side dishes, I like the fried egg omelette which comes with plenty of shrimp, nasi goreng, and kang kung. The lala soup is decent if you like it plain but personally I prefer a saltier taste. I have been here many times and will continue to come here. Best time to come is during weekday afternoons to avoid the crowd.
