Banting, Selangor, Malaysia｜Restoran Kanchong Laut (甘宗乡味海鲜餐馆)

We happened to stop by for dinner and found this restaurant which provides nothing less than 5 stars. We couldn't order big portions in view of just the two of us. We ordered la-la soup, fried paku pakis with sambal, fried signature tofu. First and foremost, the food quality is tip top, the lala is so fresh and clean that we didn't even have to cover the taste with ginger, it's without sand and ocean taste. The soup is nice, not too spicy. The fried paku pakis tastes awesome with its dried prawn sambal. The signature tofu tastes special with much flavour than just usual flour that we could get elsewhere. Second of all, the environment is cozy and clean, with the typical Chinese restaurant decorations make us feel good and comfortable having meals here. There is plenty of parking space here. Last but not least, the price is very much affordable and reasonable. Most importantly the uncle is very friendly, attending to all our needs very promptly and friendly. I would say it's worth to even make a special trip to this restaurant for a meal. Highly recommended!

Food good, kampung taste, no need to wait so long, maybe is Sunday night. Overall good for me, absolutely will come back again when visit to morib again. Highly recommended

One of the best local restaurant I've been to. Though there wasn't any fishery view, but the eatery serve good food and service. Personally liked the steamed calamari the most, topped with sauces made of lime and bunga Kantan.
