More Comments at Google MapAttentive service by the auntie. Introduced us their self planted vege, indeed was very fresh. Kinda farm to table We had lala bihun, crunchy fried 小白昌 fish, and a oh chien (fried oyster). Oyster size was big, but it wasn't crunchy fried egg, as it has taugeh in it to make way for fresh and crunchiness. Tasted not bad. Environment was decent and clean. It has a few hut with private dining. Open area well covered with ceiling fans
Nice Food here! 😍 Come and try you will know it and won’t regret
Seafood restaurant that is beyond seafood! Whenever we, the non locals, go to Klang in search for food - MOST of the time it will be either for seafood or bah kut teh. Of course there are other foods beyond the 2 names mentioned but I am talking generally. In Teluk Gong, there used to be 3 seafood restaurant located along the same road of Jalan Udang Galah - Sin Kuang Wah, Coconut Flower and Good Friends. The former was closed leaving the other two. While Coconut Flowers is more famous among outsiders, Good Friends Seafood is equally good with many local people eating here. This restaurant is a canteen for many of my friends, customers and suppliers whose factories, offices or even warehouse are in Teluk Gong. So I joined my customers here for lunch one day - instead of eating seafood, they decided to be creative instead and went for porridge instead - citing that it'll cool down the body under the sweltering heat wor. ◾white porridge - good ol' plain porridge that tasted so good after mixing with the fermented bean. I could easily whack 3 bowls (which I did). ◾fermented beans - he just told me that this dish was actually canned food from China. ◾stir fried pork belly - quite tasty to be honest especially with the porridge. ◾deep fried fish - something "crispy" to munch on. ◾wat tan "vegetable" - now this is something different.. the gravy is similar with wat tan hor.. but instead of Hor fun, they substitute with vegetable. The addition of fried anchovies gave it a savoury (salty) touch. Normally I don't eat porridge but this time, I've got to give them credit. The lunch was satisfactory to say the least.
