Good food in a simple restaurant. They also have good vegetarian options. Limited seating capacity, so go early.

A kopitiam by day and a choo char at night. Good selection of seafood - fish, la la, sotong etc. They have other dishes like chicken dishes and yam khow yoke too. I tried 2 dishes thus evening - la la siong thong and sweet and sour fish slices. The la la siong thong was flavourful with pretty strong alcohol taste. The sweet and sour fish tasted ok, had sufficient veggies in it, tomato slices, onion, capsicums. Relatively big fish slices too. All in all, a decent meal with seafood that I enjoy. Worth coming back to try the other dishes.

Very surprised at the repertoire of food available here during night time & they all tasted great. The lala was fresh as the meat was full & bouncy. The thick slice of garoupa for the sweet & sour dish was fresh. The claypot sliced pork belly with salted fish was memorable. And their interpretation of the Hokkien Mee was as good as that of Nanking, if not better, & slightly cheaper too. Definitely, one of the better tai chows in the USJ area! Indeed, dishes tasted better than the competitor just next to them.
