Nice classic Chinese cooking. Simple but very tasty food. We were in a hurry so we ordered regular dishes from their menu. The kampung chicken was firm and not overdone while my lunch buddies enjoyed the rice noodles lunch special. Will return here in future, especially to try their fish and seafood entrees which are the speciality of this restaurant.

Truly enjoyed the roasted chicken rice. The chicken skin was crispy and the meat was juicy. Thanks to the waiter for telling us that the noodle dishes were going to delay us by 20-30 minutes because we’re rushing for time.

The signage “Empurau” will suggest it’s a high end price diner. The food quality and taste does deliver. A simple claypot kangkung is aromatic with good balance of belancan, salted fish. We had the Bentong ginger claypot chicken which is also well balance. Would I come back? - Definitely Is the price worth paying? - Yes
