Been eating since the Capitol days and the boss was a teenager. Old taste is retained. Just wish ikan masin is still available like back in the 80s. Boss is still friendly and humble.

By far, the best Chinese Nasi Lemak(non racial but cultural remark) in Melaka. A lot of varieties of toppings from sambal siham, sambal sotong to their signature fried chicken. Reasonable price. Currently, the best nasi lemak in the Chinese catering industry in Malacca. The dishes are rich and the prices are reasonable. Chili fresh clams, chili squid and their specialty fried chicken. Recommended.

Traditional Malacca style nasi lemak, recipe originated by a muslim family, operated from a push cart kiosk in 1970s near Capitol Cinema. It was passed down to a Chinese family who happened to be soy bean store next to the nasi lemak. They became good friends and the recipe continued the original taste. Nasi lemak is fragrant and it is served steaming hot. The sambal is gorgeous, paired with the kangkung and fried chicken. There are more than 10 different dishes to pick from. There is always a line but crews work fast and friendly. We love this place.
