Well this place does live up to its expectations, the rendang is good. I ordered the Australian Beef Rendang and I wasn't disappointed. The meat was tender and most importantly it didn't get stuck between the teeth. Phew! The rendang seasoning was spot on and there's potatoes as well. The rice is rich in aroma from the coconut milk and other stuff as well. Sambal is the thick type and not sweet but spicy enough to remind you to take it slow. Tried the other variant which is the Lemon Grass Fried Chicken, again cooked to near perfection. Chicken wasn't overcooked till it was dry and the seasoning from the lemon grass made it taste close to the Thai pandan chicken. Nice! I chose the vegetarian sambal to try out and it was unique, very nyonya-ish. There's strong scent of the "laksa leaves" which is fragrant. Overall, the food is good. My drink was normal only, not sweet which was a good thing.

I have tried a few dishes, including Bihun Siam (Vegetarian), Nasi Lemak Rendang Chicken, and Lemongrass Fried Chicken. Most of all, I enjoy Nasi Lemak Rendang Chicken and Bihun Siam. Even Ayam Masak Merah have a good balance with the sweet and mild spicy and it enchance the flavour meanwhile Sambal Mixed Mushroom is spicy but it is really yummy! I really liked it. Although Snacks like Cucur Udang and Yam Prawn Popcorn are quite tasty, but Banana Puff is better and tastier than I expected. .These foods taste great. You must give it a try. Came for an early breakfast. The entrance was nice and simple with a menu on the door. 1st impression clean clean.. bright concrete floor and nice decor. Airconditioned shop. Waitress came and met me and asked if dining or take away . Took me to a table and handed the menu. I asked what she recommended and pointed me to Nasi Lemak rending chicken. I also ordered large lemon ice tea. Food came in a white plate with food on banana leaf and food paper. DELICIOUS is all I can say. No too spicy with nice portion of meat fried anchove peanuts cucumber sambar and the lemak rice. Nice simple combo to start the day. Price is $RM 13.90 + 5.50 and happy to pay .
