Another Sunday morning drive makan adventure took us to Nasi Lemak Mak Long in Sungai Merab, Kajang. About 38.4km from Kelana Jaya (40 minutes drive). As usual, on Sunday the drive was pleasant with very little traffic till we entered Sungai Merab district where most cars slowed down I presume to hunt for food. There were a lot of small road side stalls especially along Persiaran Kemajuan on the way to Mak Long which stretches to about 4.4km. We arrived around 09:30 and the queue for Mak Long was looooooooong (pun intended). Sarina queued patiently while I booked a table for us. Service was fast and excellent. Advisable to bring a hat and a portable fan as the sun can be up if seated at the open air section unless you can get a seat indoors. We preferred the ambience al fresco which is best suited for nasi lemak. Sarina had nasi lemak while I opted for the nasi kerabu. We were not disappointed. Sarina enjoyed her nasi lemak especially with her favourite sambal kerang (the cockles were fresh). The sambal was super duper spicy according to that someone who always says bring the hotness on! The fried chicken was a little undercooked. Perhaps acceptable for some but we would have preferred it thoroughly cooked. The nasi kerabu took quite an effort to finish. The portion was that generous. Bonus was, it was quite good. I could have requested for more sambal belacan though. Total bill for the dine in was RM39 inclusive of drinks. It would be definite yes to take another morning drive to enjoy Nasi Lemak Mak Long.

Lots of people queue but not take too much time bcs fast services by those staffs - overall prolly 9/10 I ordered nasi lemak with sambal paru and got chance to taste sambal bilis petai as my friend ordered it. The nasi lemak and lauk are good. They also have delicious keria gula melaka, a must try kuih when you come here (9/10) There are one shelves that they placed (near the payment sections) their packed ready-to-eat sambal and customers can purchase it. For the parking, there are spacious area you guys can park your cars or bikes. There are others stalls in the same area that serving drinks, roti canai and others local foods. Might try them as well. Definitely will come here again for my breakfast soon

The best nasi lemak in town! Their sambal is not too spicy and had some sweetness taste. They have plenty of side dishes to choose from. I've picked ayam goreng dara and it goes well with the nasi lemak. There is a pineapple farm nearby. You may check out on my reviews.
