I had the pleasure of dining at Restoran Alang Tunggal, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience deserving of a 5-star review. First and foremost, the restaurant's convenient location made it easy to find. The highlight of the meal was undoubtedly the Nasi Lemak Ayam Berempah. The chicken was perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection, complementing the fragrant coconut rice beautifully. However, what truly stole the show was the sambal. Its exquisite balance of flavors, combining spiciness and sweetness, left a lasting impression. The restaurant's simplicity was refreshing. With a concise menu focusing on Nasi Lemak Ayam Berempah, it was evident that they prioritized quality over quantity. This dedication to perfecting their signature dish is commendable. Overall, Restoran Alang Tunggal is a gem for those seeking a delicious Nasi Lemak Ayam Berempah. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a satisfying Malaysian culinary experience.
Nasi Lemak Ayam Goreng Berempah + Ice Coffee = RM11.60 This was a random place that I just stumbled upon because it was near the Motel I was staying in and I am VERY IMPRESSED!! I can't believe that no Food Blogs ever mentioned this place, this is such a Hidden Gem!! And as you can see in my photos, this place is actually rather popular among the locals too. The Nasi Lemak Ayam Goreng Berempah looks Visually AMAZING and tasted SO GOOD! The Rice had a Beautiful 马来风味 Fragrance, and of course the Sambal which is the SOUL of Malay Cuisine tastes so Rich and Complex. Fried Chicken is fried together with Curry Leaves so you can imagine how Fragrant they are. Really 油香味十足. This whole dish I ate was so Good, I felt that I had eaten a dish made by a Nasi Lemak MASTER. The Ice Coffee also tasted very Nice and the Condensed Milk is very Gao Gao type. The thing I really appreciated was how FRIENDLY the owner was at this place. Even knowing that I am obviously a Singaporean, he was still Extremely Friendly with a very Genuine Smile. Dear Sir, I hope you can see this, because I am Truly Grateful for you and your staffs Friendliness. It really brightened up my day. I truly enjoyed my time at your shop and I'm so happy to have the privilege of tasting such a Masterfully Crafted Plate of Nasi Lemak! I can't help but went over to give him a Thumbs Up after the meal. Such a Friendly Chap. Sedap!! Bagus!! Thanks for Reading.
