The Dish itself has a very Nice and Appetizing Sambal Chilli Smell. The Blue Pea Rice has a Beautiful Blue Tinge with a Light Coconut Taste that is not Overpowering. I especially love the Ikan Bilis / Stewed Onion Side Condiment which has a Nice Sambal Sardines Taste, It is Soft, Wet, Nicely Salty and Savoury. The Lemon Satay Fish itself is a Big Piece of Boneless Dory Fish and Portion I feel is Acceptable for the Price. I Love the Crispy Skin Bitefeel and the Sauce has a Strong Curry Leaves Taste which is also Mildly Spicy with a Sourish Tinge. This Sauce is quite Complex and made the Dish taste like Assam Curry Fish Head. Pangkor Island Chee Cheong Fun At S$3.00, this is a Very Big and Generous Portion and the Whole Dish has a very Rustic Look. The CCF is Super Smooth and Slides down your Throat easily. They claim to make their CCF from scratch and I believe it because it's really Soft and Smooth. Sauces consists of a Savoury Mushroom Sauce, Sweet Sauce and Chilli. Definitely worth the Money. S3 Sambal Prawn Ordered this because I had a nice chat with another Patron and she recommended this. At only S$2.00, the amount of Small Prawns given is Very Generous! I lost count of how many there are! Bitefeel of the Prawn is Soft, not the Bouncy Type and the Sambal I believe is the same one used with their Ikan Bilis/Onion Condiment. Pairing this with CCF is Perfect! S7 Pangkor Ngoh Hiang Hahaha was given this Free of Charge by the Super Friendly Stall Lady. It is Small Sized compared to Regular Ngoh Hiangs and has a Very Crispy Skin. Filling is also abit different where it feels more like a Fish Paste Roll. Bite texture is more Smooth than Gritty. They used quite alot of 5 Spice Powder for this one and its very prominent throughout. Tasty. Overall, I am Very Satisfied with the Quality of Food here. The Stall Lady is a Malaysian from her Accent and She is very Adorably Super Friendly. She is the Same Lady as the Cute Cartoon version on their Signboard. When we were chatting, I could tell she is very Passionate about Cooking and Very Proud of her Work, and rightly so. The Dishes here all have a Good Quality and you can tell there are Alot of Work being done for them. Highly Recommended. Definitely Worth to Try. Thanks for Reading. Ordered the Lemongrass Chicken Set at $6.90. The blue pea rice is fragrant and the fried chicken is flavourful. I like the achar and curry leaves also. Look forward to try other dishes in the menu next time.
Ordered their set no. 2, turmeric chicken with nyona nasi lemak. I love their sambal ikan billis! Very flavourful and they are very generous with it! Not a fan of achar so I didn't touch it at all. The chicken meat was tender and it came off the bone easily. Overall was good! Will be back for more!
