Singapore｜Aliff Nasi Lemak

This is a good plate of Nasi Lemak, and one of the few stalls open in this hawker centre on a weekday morning. There was a queue, but it moved reasonably fast. I took the fish fillet with my Nasi lemak, and it has a nice orange batter. Ikan bilis and chili mixed with the rice is a really good taste. Sometimes, stalls don’t give enough chilli, but the chilli quantity here was good. Chicken was a bit too bony for my liking. Shiok!

Very affordable and most solid nasi lemak in Bedok Ordered the following Nasi Lemak Set (Comes with Rice, 1 Chicken Wing, 1 Kuning Fish, Ikan Bilis) for $4.00, added on 1 Omelette & 1 Bergedil for a total of $5.60 SGD. Visited during Sunday noon at peak hours to find hot steaming servings of rice & chicken being served out to customers, Rice was fragrant yet light & fluffy with a balanced coconut taste, unlike some other nasi lemak where it literally tastes like white rice. Chicken wing was fresh tender and juicy, Sambal was sweet however had that small kick of spice well needed in a nasi lemak Omelette, Fish, Bergedil were pretty standard always a go to whenever i visit 511 Food Centre, standards definitely maintained as seen by the long queues by the locals.

Fragrant rice that is not mushy. Almost like a mix of chicken rice and lemak. Chicken wing is well marinated with tumeric and brined thoroughly. Batter not too thick. Sambal is sweet but we liked it and finished all of it. Good alternative to Changi V.
