Singapore｜NG AH SIO Bak Kut Teh (Rangoon Road)

Very attentive and welcoming customer service.. I find the soup a little too pepperish and the small intestine is a little bitter, didn’t like the preserved vegetable as it’s towards the sweet side. Pork rib and kidney tasted decent but could be better as kidney cut is too big for me. Will recommend people to still try if you are nearby that area and have BKT craving. Good customer service is always the key, food taste can always improve :))

Food is great! Came here for second visit. I especially love the BahKutTeh soup and meesua. Bkt soup is think with garlic. Different from other bkt in SG. The NgohHiang is great also. Self serve chilli. Both time coming here can see (different) affluent families parking porches in front. They market themselves to have long history (from the pictures on the wall). They have their own spice packs too, for tourists to buy and bring home. Location was spacious and there were plenty of seats when we visited both times, on Sunday morning 930am ish. Overall, recommended.

Love the soup! Unlimited refills. Peppery garlic based. Meat is tender and the side tofu was good too. Takeaway soup base is a bit pricey but worth it.
