More Comments at Google MapThis place is a gem and I'm glad that I came across it. Food is delicious and super affordable. At the moment they are running a few promotions. One of it is the lamb pot set which we've tried. For just over RM 100, you get the following: 1. lamb hot pot 2. fried whole fish 3. sweet and sour pork 4. stir fried vegetables 5. 3 white rice 6. 3 herbal drink. Instead of getting the plain rice, we topped up some money to switch it to their pork lard rice. The combination of crispy pork lard, fried shallots, pork lard oil and runny egg is definitely a must to try. Although the set is for 3 person, it was enough for the 4 of us with some leftovers. Whilst enjoying my dinner I saw some pictures on the wall and realised that the boss is actually an award winning chef. And most importantly he was in the kitchen. I guess that explains why the food is so tasty.
I saw a famous youtuber introduce the lard dregs claypot rice, crab fried rice noodles, Dongpo pork and mutton pot. Because my friend wanted to eat fried rice that day, he ordered seafood fried rice, and I ordered fried rice noodles with crab and dongpo pork. These foods were quite delicious, and I liked them very much, but the crab rice noodles were a little oily. The food here is also very Hong Kong style (very large portions), so the price is not very expensive, and it is also very filling. For example, the crab in the crab rice noodles is quite big. The tea here is more ordinary. Although it has a nostalgic style, it still feels a bit old (not nostalgic), maybe it's because things were a little messy that day! The floor tiles were not cleaned very well either!
Amazing food served. Dinner for 6 pax only cos RM130 with 6 dishes. Dishes ain’t very large portion but just enough. All the food we had were very delicious and value for money, will definitely be back again. However the restaurant is quite small, if ure here in a big group, better to call to make reservation as they do not have many tables.
