Found this gem of a place by chance and was pleasantly surprised. Pan mee was flavorful in piping hot soup and noodles were cooked just right. Yee mee with egg is another option that can be considered. Kids loved it. Also had "dao chim" (soya noodle) but that was average as the noodles could have been cooked a little longer to be softer. Kopi ping is a must! Was easy to find parking outside but table is limited inside.

Found this little jewel via Google. Parking is a problem and I came before noon. This little kopitiam is the front porch of their home. It was a lovely day and I didn't find the place hot but I can imagine on a day with hot sun and no breeze, it can be pretty warm because of the low ceiling. Pan mee is the game, and they offer original, BKT, herbal, tom yum soup, and dry version. I ordered the original and dry version. In spite of what some people felt, I didn't find the original soup too salty. In fact, I thought it was the perfect blend of flavours. The broth was clear and took in the mince meat, black fungus, mushroom, and anchovies very well. Plus the sambal belachan, the combination was heavenly. The dry version was also very good. Some people may find the noodles a little thick and may prefer it thinner. I like it just the way it is. Pan mee must be a little chewy, and you only get this with a certain thickness. My party couldn't decide which was better. Both were just as good but my preference was for the hand pinched pan mee in soup. I would definitely come back for this.
