Malacca, Malaysia｜My Chicken Rice

First, I was wary that I’d have a bad experience, reading the reviews- but I was so hungry so I gave it a chance. Happy to report I was pleasantly surprised! So so so delicious! 💙💙💙 Reasonable price too! Steamed chicken was tender, juicy and flavourful. The rice balls were nice and kinda mushy in the middle, but it didn’t affect the taste. Like the other reviews, there was an aunty that was a bit pushy in trying to get us to order the Village Chicken. But it’s fine, just tell her assertively that you want to order the steamed chicken or roast chicken. No problems with cleanliness, smell and so on (unlike many other restaurants in Jonker). Food came fast too. Overall 9/10 - would come again when I come back to Jonker Street!

One of the best chicken rice and rice ball I've ever had. The chicken was fantastic! Only ordered the white steam chicken and it was simply delicious!! Although the place is quite small and narrow but people take an average of 15 - 30mins to dine. So even if there is a line, it'll be quite fast. Workers are hard working, works fast and careful too. Definitely a must try!

Chicken rice ball and steam chicken are very tasty. The fish ball is average. Place is air-cond. Ice coffee is good. Price on the high side.
