A massive not-so-hidden gem in the extremely jammed up and busy SS2 area. There are a huge number of stalls to choose from and even stalls selling Chinese cakes and kuihs. I tried the Penang fried kuey teow but can't remember which stall. It was delicious! Food is priced rather fairly and you may need to make many trips here to try out everything due to the sheer number of stalls! 😵‍💫

Love the old school chicken chop at stall number 7. Anyone visiting wai sek kai must try the leng chee kang. The yau char kwai at the first stall is also been there a long time. SS2 为食街 is definitely a must visit if it's ur first time to petaling jaya.

SS2 Food Center is also known as "Food Street" The reason for giving 5 stars is that there are many choices and the place environment is kept clean. The food stalls here are all old brands~ And one of the stalls that I must eat every time I come here is - Char Kway Teow stall No. 8 (like a beauty pageant slogan) This fried kway teow stall is run by a husband and wife. It must have been around 30 years, right? Because I have eaten it when I was studying~ The char kway teow here is cooked enough! The ingredients are enough! Every time I come here, I must add prawns! Why? Because if you add prawns here, the boss will add prawns!!! And the boss buys them fresh every day!!! -about 7 yuan because sometimes it depends on the price of shrimp on the day) In addition to fried kway teow, there are also fried noodles and fried rice~ Another thing is Fried Ji Ling Noodles!!! (Indian Fried Noodles) This is done by the proprietress, the proprietress's kung fu is not inferior to Indian fried noodles!!! Definitely give it a try!!!
