More Comments at Google MapWe ordered the signature Sang Har Mee here for 2 pax and the river prawns are very fresh and big. The gravy is superb as is flavourful! The operating hour is until 2.30pm and we reach at 2pm. The boss is very kind to let us make our last order. The boss is very friendly and told us they have a branch in Kepong and welcome us to visit during night time. We will back again and try for the beef noodle as well
The old taste in the back alley – Sang Kee @ Lorong Yap Ah Loy, KL People who come here for the first time may not think that there is a big stir-fry stall in such an alley. This restaurant is not far from Chinatown and is hidden in a dark alley of Lorong Yap Ah Loy. If you haven’t been here before, you may need to spend some time looking for it. The kitchen here is just outside, and customers can see how each dish of fried rice noodles is cooked in a large pot. Many regular customers come here for their signature shrimp noodles. The raw shrimp noodles here are also relatively dry. In addition to the plump raw shrimps, there are also vegetables, green onions and smooth eggs, which makes it taste full of flavor.
Nestled in downtown KL's backalley, Sang Kee is literally a hidden gem. Their freshwater prawn mee a crowd favourite but famed for fried beef noodle nonetheless. The 'breath of the wok' (wok hei) is all over the 2 Cantonese style fried noodles that's so lacking in most eateries.
