Many varieties including those with sesame. Ice cream that’s silky smooth! Very delicious! 😋 Will sure be back to try other desserts. 🍨 🍮
I recently visited a dessert store that impressed me with its scrumptious soybean creations, overall experience, and wallet-friendly prices. From soybean curd to ice cream and soybean milk, each offering was a delight, expertly crafted and beautifully presented. Best of all, the prices were reasonable, making it an affordable indulgence for anyone. However, do be prepared for a crowd, even at night. In short, this dessert store is a sweet haven that's definitely worth a visit. You won't be disappointed. Rating: Food: 5/5 Price: 4/5 Ambience: 4/5
Taufu fah is an old time favorite dessert. It's relatively healthy and cheap too. Over the years, it has fallen out of favor to current favorites like bubble tea and ice cream. Thanks to new places like Dao, taufu fah is making a comeback. I first encountered Dao sometime ago while going to a nearby restaurant. There was a long queue of mostly young people. I couldn't understand it because it was just overpriced taufu fah in a much nicer seeing in my opinion. Today, I decided to give it a try to see what the fuss is all about. There wasn't a queue because it was the middle of the afternoon. We ordered both the red bean (dao red) and black sesame paste (dao panda) varieties. The taufu fah is really smooth and goes really well with the paste. But what I liked most is that they really cut down on the syrup. Traditional taufu fah is far too sweet for me nowadays but this is just fine. Overall, I think it is different and unique enough to justify Dao charging higher prices for their version of taufu fah.
