I would say the toast with ice cream was the best in the menu. Crunchy toast filled with peanut plus vanilla ice cream.

HK style comfort food to keep my sanity intact in these unpredictable times. I took a trip down memory lane as I savoured this wholesome meal; reminiscing my good times back in HK, missing all the delicious street snacks🏮 1. 北角滑蛋三宝饭 (omelette with char siew, prawns & sliced pork) - True definition of comfort food, it was simple yet satisfying. This bowl of goodness tastes extra rich as the velvety egg smooths everything over with its smooth creaminess. The only downside was their char siew - It was too hard and had a very strong preserved taste (similar to wax meat) which I despised 🤮 2. Iceberg Lettuce 玻璃生菜 - Lettuce was soaked in a sour based soup and topped with generous amount of fried shallot and pork lard. It went really well with my sanbao rice 😋🥬 3. Polo Bun 菠萝包 - This was definitely the highlight of my meal & deserves a standing ovation 😍👏🏻 Buttery flaky polo bun which was slightly crispy on the outside yet soft & fluffy on the inside with a hint of sweetness was a decadent treat!! One of the best polo buns I’ve ever had 🤤
