A local friend here in Klang introduced us to this stall but it was closed on that particular day. Hey I am back to this neighbourhood and this round I got to try it. Wow... I am amazed with it, definitely one of the BEST claypot rice that I ever experience. RM18.00 a pot truly worth it and worth to make the trip. I just fall for the smoky aroma of this charcoal burnt claypot rice. Not sure how the Mastro here does it, either the cooked rice or the topping has that infused smoky taste and smell brilliant that you don't come by often or not at all at any claypot rice. The present of salted fish makes it taste so good, chicken was well marinated cooked and slices of Chinese sausage did up the taste. It was so good and it knocked off my tastebud instantly. It was definitely set a new standard for me when it comes to a claypot rice. Then a RM13.00 pot of pig stomach claypot soup too caught my attention. Just love indulging a warm soup during this rainy season that warms you up with plentiful of button mushrooms and chunks of pig stomach. It was truly a satisfying eat, definitely a must eat here. Packed with fried chicken and five spices, it tastes like childhood and is delicious. I will invite friends to eat next time. ☺
