The Mee Rebus is brilliant. Penang Mamak style - tinge of spices amid sweet potato broth. A good counterpoint to Mail Mee Rebus - a Penang Malay style which is just as brilliant. I give both joints 5 Stars. Mee Goreng Hamid is something else. A former Finance Minister is a fan of Pasembor from Hamid's.

This is my favorite Mee Rojak and my wife's favorite Mee rebus. We have been patronize this store when there are on the main road in front of Taman Permata, now MRR2 since 20 years ago. This is one of our regular food where we enjoyed our lunch there.

Tried both the mee rebus and mee goreng. Both were excellent, and generous with condiments (tauhu, cucur, telur, etc) but consider yourself warned-- it's very pedas!! 🌶
