Their asam pedas are really tasteful. Can feel the taste of the authenticity. The squid is fresh & tender. Other dishes like udang & sotong goreng tepung are also not bad. At first we were nervous because the latest reviews weren’t good, but we went anyway. Waiting time: I guess it was quick because there were only 3 other tables they were serving. PKP hasn’t been friendly to business, but they’ve maintained. Food: we order ikan pari asam pedas, whoch arrived first. Rm16+ per set, fish was fresh, two medium portions with okra and tomato in the broth, served in a claypot. Mild, not too sour or spicy, but still got me sweating buckets 😅 Sotong bakar was another level. Rm60 for 530g, stuffed with egg and tofu, served sizzling on metal plate with sambal gravy. definitely worth it if you’re splurging. Only downside is maybe the loud music. I didn’t take the picture before meal, because I rarely leave reviews. But this had me thinking of coming again in the future.
