The last time i tried to get my hands on the mee goreng sotong, it was still at a small stall on the street. Now that they have moved to the food court, it’s so much more convenient! Now about the dish, is it penang standard?? not quite there. But it is still the best one that you can get here on klang valley area. It was flavourful and they were very generous with the portion for the price point. I really do appreciate that they’ve pre-packed / pre-served them to accommodate the long queue. Thou it’s already pre-cooked, the noodles were still warm & fresh. Will come again!

If you’re a fan of mee sotong Penang then you’ll enjoy Mamu’s version. A bit on the wet side but with their homemade cili sauce, freshly cooked sotong and fritters, taste wise, it hits the mark. Mee mamu offers two variations, the standard mee original (rm6) and also the mee sotong (rm8). The latter is their bestseller and tends to sell out fast so if you favour sotong with your mee, make sure you get there early so you don’t miss out. Operating hours may be from 12:30- 6pm but mee sotong runs out way before closing. Heads up, if you’re dining there, skip the long line and head straight to the counter to place your order. The queue is for take away only. Also bear in mind that parking here is quite a hassle. Service is great and even the take away queue doesn’t take long. Best mee sotong in KL.
