More Comments at Google MapThis is one of the best if not the best Bah Kut Teh I have tried. Great cuts of pork available. Highly recommended and a must try. To those who cant have enough of it, they do have frozen packed Bah Kut Teh as well.
Back to Klang where this port town is the capital of the bah kut teh. With hundreds of BKT operators scattered all over the town to the port, almost every nook and corner that you go, you'll find a BKT place. Everyone has their style of making this hot herbal soup breaking with sweetness of the pork and the flavour of the herbs that purportedly will keep the body warm. I am not very well-versed in BKT as I only go down to Klang once in a while (now lesser due to MCO) to look for my customers. But they have introduced me to many nice BKT places ever since I started coming down to Klang more than 15 years ago. Ah Peng, Ah Her and Samy are siblings... and while I'd been to the latter two, I only got to try Ah Peng as recently as two years ago. That time, he was operating from a kopitiam in Sentosa called Hong Soong. But they have moved into a shop nearby after a while. A few of them swears by Ah Peng, claiming that his BKT style tastes the closest to the original (the dad). It was evident that they were very popular among foodies, as witnessed by me as I made my way there for breakfast one day. Everyone was queueing up to wait for their turn, but lucky for me one of my friends lives nearby and he was already there waiting for me. The soup was damn kaw and powerful to say the least... And somehow I love the taste of it. Soup was stingy as per their standard but the meat - Ka wan, ka chak, pai kut, etc - was good. All I need was simply a plate of rice and cili padi on the side and the breakfast would be a happy affair. I am blessed to have a few good friends in Klang, who would bring me anywhere I want whenever I was in town. Again.. if I may say, this has got to be one of the best (if not the best) bah kut teh in town. Personal taste ya 🙏🏻
If customers don’t mind drinking a bland and tasteless soup, of course we are very willing to add soup, because what we sell is authentic bowl-style Bak Kut Teh, and the soup is cooked with Bak Kut Teh, so the soup of Yaping Bak Kut Teh The bottom will be sweet, fragrant and delicious! ☺️☺️☺️
