This. Is. The. BEST. Bak Kut Teh in Malaysia!!! GREAT steamed fish. Magnificent bak kut teh that doesn't cost a bomb. Unlimited refill of VERY tasty BAK KUT TEH SOUP. A family-owned business, and the so and his wife have very fast, polite, and accommodating customer service. While the level cleanliness and the lack of tissues might be a bit of a downer at times, it is a warm and family friendly restaurant, with a neighbourly sense of vibe that makes up for what they lack. The only real issue is if it rains heavily, the wind will blow an overwhelming gust against the face of those sitting at the tables located at the sides. Maybe they can install some blinders or something to substitute for walls, or at least something to block the rain. Overall, 8 outta 10 !!!

If you are looking for a not-too-salty kind of Bak Out Teh, this is the one! As a foreigner, I wouldn't have been to this place if my local Chinese Malaysian friend didn't took me there. It was great. For 3 Bak Kut Teh, 2 rice bowls, 1 veggies dish and 1 tofu soup, it costs us only RM41. They are also very generous on soup. Even if you have already finished your rice, you can ask to refill your soup bowl with warm Bak Kut Teh soup anytime. That's really good!

A friendly community based BKT run by 2 generations of father and son. BKT is of herbal type and taste fabulously delicious. Portion is very generous and given by shop owner. Frequent patron of this BKT despite staying at Bandar Sri Permaisuri
