Singapore｜Olden Street Bak Kut Teh

Their seafood is very fresh. The lobsters need to be ordered in advance. The lobster salad is very good, will be even better if there is less mayonnaise. The chili crab sauce is nice and the meat dishes and vegetables are good too. We enjoyed the food here.

Even though the dishes we ordered were not uncommon, all of it was delicious. The ngoh hiang didn't come with any sauce but one bite and we understood why. Really crispy and fragrant - overall quite affordable too. The whole meal pictured here cost us $50.20.

I have been to this place for lunch on 5 previous occasions and each time I went there is to either have teh Bak Kut Teh or kway chap. So far, the food served did not disappoint. Delicious and that was why I have been back for more. Another reason why I like this place is the nice ambience and rustic feel of the place. And best of all is that it is not crowded even during much time. Today, went there with 2 friends and we were served by a very friendly and efficient staff, Hong Yun. She was very efficient and I would like to give her 2 thumbs up. Cheers and I will be back for more good food.
