Singapore｜Daun Pandan Rice Dumpling

Went on a mission since we were craving rice dumplings. We ordered number 2 it was delicious. Lovely chunks of meat in it. Tucked away in back alley. There wasn't really anywhere to sit so we ate as we walked back to the MRT.

Daun Pandan Rice Dumplings have the right proportion of glutinous rice and ingredients / fillings. I can say a dumpling is a meal as it is substantial in serving. I had the classic bak chang and nonya chang. You can taste the savoury meat, shiitake mushroom sliced and 1 whole chestnut when you bite into its bak chang. As for its classic nonya chang, it is not overly sweet and it is balanced on saltiness using pork shoulder meat. It is great if you love the mix of sweet and salty in your tastebuds. Daun Pandan Rice Dumplings are not oily / greasy and definitely delicious! Recommended 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

An unsuspectingly great place. Tucked away at the end of a busy road junction it would be safe to say one of the best 粽子 (rice dumpling) I have ever eaten.
