Singapore｜Wei Yi Laksa & Prawn Noodle

I can see why people will come & queue for the Laska. For $4, I got a bowl of laska with prawns and fried bean curd. The portion was generous considering that it was only $4. I liked the texture and spicy level of this gravy. It wasn't too overwhelming and the flavour was to my liking. It is nice that there are several sets of different ingredients to choose from - chicken, cockles etc.

Been noticing the long queue and early closing hours for this stall (1pm), that is only because the laksa, item #2 on your menu board, is GREAT. This is partly cos they start operating at 530am, PLUS the fact that food is great. Curry is thick and fragrant, you have to try it yourself to authenticate my finding. Tried the Prawn noodles, on a different day, though soup is average. Prawn is halved (butterfly). Fantastic to see a family run stall at this hawker centre. Do decide your order beforehand to avoid slowing down the queue.

Prawn noodle was cheap and good at only $3. Laksa was also value for money but the broth was too diluted for my liking. Good to eat if in the area but not really worth making a trip and queuing for it.
