Singapore｜Loo's Hainanese Curry Rice

First time trying this famous stall. The queue is long but it move pretty fast as the stall got a lot of people have their own task. The curry i would say is savoury and quite thick, gravy is well spread throughout the rice. I ordered the pork cutlet, curry chicken and cabbage for $5.80. I particular enjoy the pork cutlet got a beautiful sweet taste, the portion is sufficient for a good meal. Taste is always subjective. Have fun.

Really enjoyed this old-school curry rice. They use to be in one of the shop house opposite Tiong Bahru market before they moved into the hawker center. Long queue but it move quite fast. I like the fried fish with spicy sauce.

Been having this for years now since they were located at the coffee shop which is Privé today. Maybe I’m biased but I still think it’s one of the better curry rice in Singapore and price wise while it has definitely increased over the years I think it’s still pretty reasonable. The queue is increasingly long but they are pretty quick with serving but still be prepared to wait due to the sheer number of people.
