I has Abalone Laksa , it is not same as Katong Laksa but also very good . I think the gravy is the most important . They accept here also pay now and they are on the second floor . Price for 6$ is more as OK and I ask extra spicy so I got everything what I wanted .

Best laksa in Circuit Road! I travelled from the West with my passport and it was definitely worth the effort! Laksa was a heartwarming dish - springy rice thick beehoon enveloped in a piquant spiced broth with notes of coconut and haebee (shrimp). The taste of Hup Hup's Laksa was further enhanced by the addition of laksa leaves and sambal, served piping hot by a very friendly boss.

Ordered laksa here as there was no line. What a wonderful surprise! Laksa had perfect balance of flavours with nice taupok, fish cake, see hum, and taugay. The gravy was just right. Being a Katong gal, I hardly thought I’d enjoy laksa from elsewhere. I ate so fast that I forgot to take pictures. We came back today to try the mee siam. But forgot to take picture until halfway through. It’s even better than the laksa. It’s really the best in Singapore. Though slightly sweet, the gravy had little bits of ebi, making it less pungent than stalls who use haebee. The taucheo was smooth and light tasting, more like miso. The bee hoon was orange in colour and they gave a whole egg. Could be addictive. Definitely will be back. The bonus is the super efficient owners who packed everything fast and had a friendly demeanour. They have more orders than the unfriendly porridge shop which is always in an endless cycle of frenzy, and didn’t even taste that nice. They even have their own branded paper bowls packaging or you can ask to use normal plastic bags.
