Singapore｜Fried Kway Teow @ Amoy

Their CKT is more moist than most others in SG, but still has a fuller flavour and was tastier than I expected, despite not having any charred wokhey. I tried their $4 version, you might want to get $5 if you have a bigger appetite :) Ordered just before lunchtime so no crowd, but the entire place and most stalls get super crowded during usual eating hours so you might want to avoid those timings. (I don't eat cockles so I can't comment on that)

Rare are they now authentic fried kway teow wet, sweet & savoury stir fry cockles hum sprouts eggs all garlicky lard shoyu fiery chilli eggy flat & yellow oodles caramelised fatty umami plate by individual plate so hard to beat, satisfy crave all thanks auntie & new apprentice all passion & hard work may the force be with you

Walked past and decided to give it a try. Packed $5 pack. Wow, the portion is huge. It still taste good after 1.5 hours. Lots of big cockles ... not too oily. One of the best in SG imo.
