Nowadays, eating kway chap is getting quite expensive, especially mixed pig's organ soup. In many places, the amount of sliced stomach, liver, meat etc is very limited and if I'm really hungry, I'll never eat this because it is not enough to fill my stomach. However, here at Kelantan Kway Chap, the $4.50 portion is quite the opposite. Inside the bowl of soup, you can find generous amount of sliced pig stomach, liver and pork. The liver is still pinkish when served but I left it in the soup for a bit before eating and it is really tender. The soup is not the super peppery kind and neither is it those very sour and salty type from the salted vegetables, it is a in between. The single portion kway chap comes with a bowl of kway at $5. We ordered the $2 braised Tau kee and we were given a very generous portion. Overall, this is very affordable kway chap and tasty too. You don't get thirsty from finishing the entire bowl of soup but remember, soup is not peppery kind if that's what you are looking for.

First, the kway. It was chewy with a great texture. You’ll also be able to put in as much fried garlic and parsley (chinese coriander) as you want. A good kway is half the battle won for a good kway chap. The broth was a delightful light braised flavour which complemented the heavier soy sauce from the meats very well... One of the few favourites that we have to make an effort to eat every time.back in Singapore. Well priced and tasty.
