Singapore｜Mei Heong Yuen Dessert

An old school dessert place in heart of Chinatown serving up Chinese styled desserts. They are most notably known for their shaved ice and peanuts. The ices come in a myriad of flavors and aren't overly sweet. They've got other things aside from shaved ice such as dessert soups and even pan fried turnip cake! Their famous peanuts can be bought to go at the cashier and I bought quite a few bags myself!

Great place for shaved ice desserts (with or without jellied fruits). A little pricey ($7-12) but good experience overall (service, ambiance, quality, variety, etc.). Even after so many years, they have maintained the consistency in quality. Very smooth and delicious ice (lime flavour in the picture)!

Tried different desserts here, favourite one is peanut paste and mango roll. Seen a lot of people ordering g cold dessert but I didn't try. Price wise is ok for what it is. Old style and buzzing with locals coming to satisfied their local dessert cravings.
