Surprised by the quality of the HKM.. the noodles are infused with the rich and flavourful broth and, at $5.50, it comes with Lala, 2 big prawns and plentiful of thin slices of pork belly. Thumbs up. Remember to put some balacan chilli. It add the extra touch. The Char Kuey Tiao is also very nice. I will be back for more! Thanks for the great meal. Look at my empty plate.. its the best testimonial.

Must order: hokkien mie My favorite hokkien mie, the one that set the standard for me. It’s on the soupier end but the broth is so pleasantly sweet from the seafood and pork. It also has more rice noodles than yellow noodles, which is how I like it too. For that reason it probably doesn’t travel well for dabao. It also has a couple of clams for good measure. For $5 it’s very generous for one person. It’s on my list as one of the places I must visit when I’m home. I’ve been patronizing since secondary school so the auntie recognizes me.

⁣ 𝐒𝐦𝐚𝐥𝐥 $𝟒 / 𝐌𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐮𝐦 $𝟓 / 𝐁𝐢𝐠 $𝟖 ⁣ Serving are quite 𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐬 for $5 Fried Hokkien Mee. There are four prawns, a couple of clams, squid, and slices of pork belly in this fried Hokkien Mee. It’s a mixture of yellow and white beehoon. This is one of the best Hokkien mee I've ever had. Noodles are wet enough that soaked with gravy and served hot!
