Best char kuay teow in Singapore. Amazing flavour and wokhey 🤩 Michelin Star Wanton Mee didn’t disappoint as well. Noodles were cooked to perfection, their charsiew isn’t those charred kind but still has a good taste to it, fried & boiled wantons fillings were tender and nicely seasoned. For $5.50, I would say it’s really worth it!

We went for lunch here right after check-in to our hotel. This place was a bit crowded during lunchtime. We ordered hor fun with onsen egg, battered enoki, and pork slice. And ordered yang zhou fried rice. And for drinks, we ordered sugarcane juice. The service was good. It's a bit of a wait, but that is expected. The area is generally clean, with everyone cleaning after themselves. Exemplary practices. We met a very friendly lady who was so kind to tell us many recommended eating places while we wait for our food. Obviously, we need more time to try all the delicious food in Singapore. Place gets maddeningly crowded during weekday lunch hours, especially 12-1pm. Would highly advise to avoid that timing. There is a Chinese vegetarian stall, #02-02. I ate from there. Portions were abit small but food was very yummy and very cheap ($3.30 for rice + 3 dishes). 👍🏼
