The ayam penyet is hot & crispy good, especially with the sambal chilli. Comes with mee soto soup. 👍🏽

This is the only place we could have our Rawon fix (not the malay style thick one, the original East Java style). The rawon soup is also available in oxtail variety. The sellers are very nice. Btw they moved recently to crawford lane, right behind ICA lavender.

Went here with colleagues for lunch. We've been wanting to try the ayam penyet here for the longest time. I ended up ordering ayam geprek because it has fresh pound chili on top and it did not dissapoint. The chilli was very fragant and yummy, it's the highlight of the whole meal. The chicken was pleasantly crispy and well seasoned, but a bit dry for me. Compared to their ayam penyet (tried my colleague's one) I'd choose the ayam at any given time. Not really a fan of the sambal that comes with the penyet, it's more sweet and not spicy enough. Their soto ayam was really nice too, the fresh lime leaves adds on to the appetising fragance and their soup taste really rich but not heavy. Can't wait to go back and try the rawon and sop buntut next time! Oya, we love their shrimp crackers too!
