Place deserves more than this rating. Uncle and aunty are super friendly and they squeeze in calamansi for you. Not the oily thick broth too: very light and homey!

Love this old-school mee siam. Though prices have increased ($3.50 currently) and there's no longer any taupok in the dish, I'd still be back every week! The gravy is appetising with the tamarind in it.

Go to for a comfy brunch. Only open on weekends and tues/wed. Aunty can be a bit grouchy, but its not on purpose. Every time i add an egg (additional 50cents), aunty would always confirm and double confirm that i want an additional egg(2 eggs total). As if she was trying to tell me not to add an egg. 🤣 Very homely taste. Egg is store bought packaged and frozen. Generous serving of cong. Broth piping hot, not overly rich / msg taste, a bit bland compared to the one at geylang bahru but nice nonetheless. Usually short queue, perfect for a quick meal. 2 very good coffee shops beside, golden and shee’s. Both run by very nice uncles.
