Singapore｜Zhong Guo La Mian Xiao Long Bao 中国拉面小笼包

Consistently good noodles and broth at very reasonable prices. There's almost always a line of people waiting to order. I've always enjoyed their beef noodles and chili oil dumplings. It's amazing how they can make top quality food out of such a small stall, at these prices.

Saw a long queue waiting to order the dumplings here, and decided to join the fun as well. The queue moved pretty fast, as the guy taking orders is rather efficient. We tried the 小笼包, 锅贴 (fried dumplings with leek and minced pork, 红油超手 and a 酸辣汤. Highly recommend! The skin of the 小笼包 is thin and the quality is as good as Din Tai Fung, but at a fraction of its price! The dumplings were not oily and generously filled. The sauce of the 红油超手 was a tad bit oily, but still had a great tanginess to it. The wantons were also filling. The soup was nice, but nothing to shout about. Do come and try these dishes out!

Definitely a hidden gem to dine here. Food was prepare fresh and it tasted so yummy! Price was also very affordable.. but the waiting time to cue and get your meal took us about 20min.. Will surely return to this stall on my next visit to Singapore!
