This place serves amazing hokkien mee. You can top up with various ingredients. Lots of beautiful pork lard and all those toppings are amazing. I find the prize very cheap for the large portion of hokkien mee and generous delicous toppings. We had the Salted Egg Calamari Hokkien Mee for $6.5 and the Red Flamed Braised Pork Hokkien Mee for $6.5. I think it is a steal. The hokkien mee is full of wok hey. That by itself is 5 stars. The extra toppings only to extra $2.5 per generous toppings. Really worth it. The fried calamari is fresh, the coating stick to the calamari, there is a nice bit to it without been chewy. Nice flavour and good skill in cooking to have the coating evenly over the calamari. The Red Flamed Braied Pork..... phew it.. absolutely juicy and delicious. Yummy! Definitely will come again. Went again and this time tried the Red Flamed Braised Pork Hokkien Mee (cannot get enough of it) and also the Sambal Belacan Hokkien Mee. The Red Framed Braised Pork Hokkien Mee didn't disappoint and shine brightly again. As for the Sambal Belacan, it was cooked with squid, prawns and sliced pork belly. The flavor was off. We think that sambal doesn't go nicely with pork belly. So suggest to give this dish a miss. Anyway, the other dishes that we have tried was top notch!

First time eating there after family chanced upon it when wanting to have some food at Bukit Batok. Don’t be fooled. This is no ordinary coffee shop! Tucked in a corner of some housing blocks you will not see much vibes when near. Well that was my first impression. Then when the dishes were presented to us-wow! Literally littered with big chucks of fried lard, visibly large prawns, I tell myself this is worth a try. The chilli was yummy and best of it is the prawn stock which flavoured the noodles and everything in it. Certainly some evidences of wok-hey in the noodles and gave it a little charred but worthy dish for a fried Hokkien mee rendition. There are other variations to try too. The braised pork one is also worth the bite. So try it for yourself. For those who don’t own a car, it might be a little tricky getting in there but don’t fret the BlueSG parking is just a stone throw away. Ya so no excuse not to try ok!

This is probably the best hokkien mee I ever had in my 31 years in Singapore. Tried a few famous Bukit Batok area, but really no need to compare. This one wins hand down pants down. Now I cannot eat any hokkien mee already, this full of wok hei hokkien mee makes others feels like child's play.
