More Comments at Google MapFirst time trying this stall today and it kept true to its name. I ordered the kidney mee sua and the uncle attempted to upsell me the XO version but I decided to stick to the conventional. Their broth for the mee sua however, was far from conventional. Al dente mee sua swimming alongside slices of kidney in a thick, hearty broth that at some point made me think I might have to chew my soup. It was exciting and suspenseful, all in a good way just like the taste that coated my palate. Rich, but not gamey or tasting of offal was the soup, though the kidney was slightly overcooked. It's not an easy dish to find here in Singapore nowadays, so I truly appreciate stalls that sell it, and furthermore stray away from the conventional taste and recipes to challenge what 'traditional' and 'old school flavour' means in today's evolving f&b scene. Would definitely return for a nutrient packed kidney mee sua as well as to try their other dishes. @goodfoodwrite - instagram & YouTube
A very nice noodle. Very shiok. The fishball also very nice and the mala version 👍👍👍 highly recommended!!
Must try their aromatic and ginger fragrant Black Mee Sua soup. The kidney and liver were fresh, sliced thick and cooked just right. Soup was flavourful and robust, every sip was very refreshing. Their Bak Chor Mee was equally good was well. Noodles was springy and the sauce was well balanced. It was filling, comforting and very satisfying.
