Singapore｜Ah Lim Mee Pok . Kway Teow Soup

Our favourite fishball noodle stall in this neighbourhood. We have been patronising them for the past 15 years. The noodles are always cooked to al denté and drenched in their in house chilli paste & lard mix. It’s so flavourful. The serving size is generous for their price of $5.50/$6.50/$7.50. I would visit every weekend morning and not get sick of the dish. Kudos to the chef owner and his team who has been so dedicated. The lady staff would know you by your preferences of the noodle type, such as with/without chilli, less oil, no pork etc..

My favourite style of meepok. My favourite stall in Singapore. It needs a little light soya sauce to bring out the full flavour. Season it to your preference.

Ordered the $5 minced meat mee pok black. Every component of the dish is nice. Good amount of marinated minced meat. QQ noodle. Nice dark sauce. Crispy and light pork lard. Sprinkle of fried garlic which enhanced the flavor. Normal fishball and fishcake. The soup is nice too. Finds too many minced meat noodle neglected their soup. Glad that this stall did not treat the soup as second class citizen :p
