Singapore｜Ah Lim Jalan Tua Kong, Joo Chiat Place

I have always wanted to eat this，but the wait is always rather long during lunch hour. I came here to have a go at it on a Monday. I was pleasantly surprised that the place was not that crowded and the wait was also very manageable at about 10 minutes. Of late, I have been eating fishball, minced meat noodle and encountered some good ones and some misses. This belongs to the former. The noodle is light and springy, and the sauce is very balanced and flavourful. There is also a generous amount of the minced that soaks up the flavour of the sauce when stirred well. Very enjoyable bowl.

Came here for mee pok for the first time and saw a long queue, so my guess is it must be good It didn't disappoint as the taste and smell are good, wish I had ordered a bigger portion They don't just serve Mee pok but other soup based noodles as well Definitely a good place for local eatery in Joo Chiat area

My family and I like eating dinner here sometimes. Mee Pok is good. Parking in front on the place is free by virtue of being visible from where you sit. It’s a small coffee shop, but because it’s a corner unit terrace, tables are airy.
