Singapore｜Express Teppan-Yaki Tampines Mall

This has been my favorite teppanyaki place for many years. My favourite set meal would be their teppanyaki sliced beef with chilli and garlic. This set comes with rice, vegetable soup (refillable upon request), beansprout, cabbage and sliced beef at only $12.60. The chef will ask if you would like it with chili or without before he cooks for you. The chef always changes, so sometimes it is your luck if you get the better chef. Maybe one way to close the gaps would be to have a trainer standardize the ingredients and cooking process. Having said that, I still love this place to bits. I just hope that they could incorporate add-ons for set meals in their menu. I always wanted to add on scallops but for now, it is not possible. They only sell them in sets. I hope they would consider this, as many of us would love to order more but not a full extra set with additional rice and vegetables. Highly-recommended!

Delicious! Compare to Woodlands branch, here is much nicer and seafood are fresh, vegetable was pretty well cooked. Chef👨‍🍳do play a part. The chef that cooked for us is a Chinese Malaysian guy, tall, big build, and had a dark tone skin! 😃 Other thing there a elderly lady taking order and collecting payment at the cashier, probably she an elderly hence she doesn’t really greet and she neither friendly😅. Space here smaller. But overall worth the wait 👍🏻

Chefs worked tirelessly as all seats were taken on a Saturday evening. Chef followed my instruction of non-spicy meat and they gave large potion of vegetables. Meat potion was decent and tasted good. Cashier wasn’t the most friendly but wasn’t rude too. Overall, my child and I were happy with the dinner and will definitely return again.
