Singapore｜Scaled by Ah Hua Kelong

Rather small restaurant, but it's cozy and serves up amazing food. I actually enjoyed the appetizers a lot more than I did the mains, but those were really good as well! The star of the show is definitely the KFC, crispy and tender in the right places, crazy good!! I also really liked the pate with the bread that was fried to golden brown. Their IPA was also great, really floral and bitter enough for it to shine through. Don't have much photos cause I got too carried away eating but you honestly can't miss with their menu!

First of all, the service is commendable , the staff are friendly and took some time to give a brief explanation of each dish when they serve it. Most of the dishes are pretty good. Quite enjoyed the lala and the KFC fish thingy is surprising crispy and fresh, only thing the most bowls are quite small, and the sauce or gravy are all at the bottom, kinda hard to reach. Enjoyed the meal. Thanks!

Very good food and service! Farm to table concept. We tried the mussels in curry (very flavourful!), fried squid and some fish which was served with pickled starfruit. All very delicious. You can order some wine to go with the food. Servers will tell you more about the dish when it is served.. attentive service.
