Singapore｜Chin Choon Prawn Noodle

Nice dark sauce version of the standard prawn noodles, seems like Malaysian style. Read that some reviewers dun like this dark sauce version, so your mileage may vary yah. The soup broth is very flavourful. Prawns a bit small though, maybe cos they are deshelled. Added pigs liver, cooked just nice with slight bit of red. Stall uncle is very friendly, dun hesitate to ask to refill bowl of soup for dry noodles order. Recommended to try!

Have been a fan of their prawn noodles since they were back at their old location along Bukit Panjang area. Was so devastated when they closed down and we could not locate them. Finally found them again at Bukit Batok and rushed over to have a bowl. The best part of their prawn noodles is definitely the soup - it was flavourful and so so tasty. We would had multiple bowls of the soup every time we head over. The queue does build up especially during peak hours but it moves rather quickly.

Finally, after missing them for the few years since they closed the stall along Upp Bukit Timah Road, we managed to sink our teeth on this Malaysian styled prawn noodles! There aren't many similar kind of prawn noodles around, glad that I've found them here in Bukit Batok. Somehow the dark soy sauce gives the noodles an enhanced flavour which makes it even tastier. This coffee shop seems really busy and there's a queue at every single stall.
