If you don’t wander too far from the standard offerings, the dishes should be consistent and good overall value for money. I’m not enough of a XLB connoisseur to be able to tell the difference between the leading chains apart. The ones here a good, and surprisingly the chicken version was also well done. Efficient and friendly service plus a more than reasonable bill makes PD repeat visit-worthy.

The xiao long bao - soup and meat combi was really good! We also had Shanghai fried rice which was nice as well. The usual suspects century egg tofu, chili vinegar oil dumpling and the drunken chicken which turned out a pleasant surprise! Expect for the seats which were a-bit too close to each other. I guess the experience was alright. Atmospheres just like how a Chinese restaurant ought to be, exciting and crowded. 🤣

This is what I call comfort food! Went for a La Mian in Pork Broth, do ask for some chilli to go along with it for some extra oomph. We also tried the Dan dan mien, it wasn’t too bad, the chilli always works here. Sheng jian bao was ok, had better elsewhere. Service was ok, it was a busy crowded evening and peak period so I wasn’t expecting much. I do recommend the PGR membership which is really worth it for $3/year, we managed to snag $10 off our meal with their anniversary vouchers!
